Under a Big Sky

An unlikely pairing of a British Well Tank and a Polish Saddle Tank head the Avon Valley Railway freight set towards Bitton from the direction of Avon Riverside. 0-4-0WT "Willy the Well-Tank" was built by Kerr Stuart in 1918. TKH49 no. 4015 "Karel" was built in 1947 and is resident at the AVR. Stormy lighting makes for an impressive exhaust trail.
