This scene was observed from the platform of the M5 Motorway bridge at Avonmouth, Bristol. The train is 6C03, the Severnside 'Bin Liner', running from Southall in London to the Sita Recycling Centre near Severn Beach. Here the train passes Shirehampton (left) and the village of Pill on the left bank of the River Avon. DB Cargo locomotive no. 66006 heads a lengthy rake of loaded waste containers.
