Once double tracked and with buildings on both sides of the line, Redland station is a shadow of its former self. It has been an unstaffed halt since 1967. On the Bank Holiday Sunday of 27 August 2017 it sees the arrival of GWR Class 166 DMU no. 166204 on service 2K30 to Severn Beach.
