An S8 set, 21002 at the rear, stands at the eastbound platform at Barbican station. The train formed a Metropolitan Line service for Aldgate on Saturday 08 February 2020. This station had a glass and steel roof until Hermann Goring intervened in 1941. The supports can still be seen just above the brickwork arches on the left.
