LNER A1 Class Pacific 'Tornado' seen at Newton St. Loe, to the west of Bath, on 01 December 2012. The train was the 'Cathedrals Express' return excursion from Ipswich to Bristol Temple Meads. The field in the foreground shows evidence of the recent wet weather that has done so much to disrupt rail services in the South West. Unlike the recent Twerton Wood Tunnel image, this view clearly shows 'Tornado' in her new blue livery.
