LMS Black 5 no. 44932 heads 'The St. David's Day Cathedrals Express' eastwards over the River Usk in Newport. This was the return leg of a London Victoria to Cardiff charter. The light was fading fast as it was only ten minutes to sunset, so this was shot on ISO 3200 on my new Nikon D4. The image needed a lot of noise reduction, but I am pleased with the end product.
