The view here is the eastern portal of Sydney Gardens East Tunnel in Bath. Separate to this, but adjacent, is the Sydney Gardens West Tunnel. Caught in the small patch of light between the two is Great Western Railway Class 802 set no. 802103. Having just departed Bath Spa station on the morning of Thursday 24 March 2022, this train formed 1A17, the Bristol Temple Meads (1100hrs) to London Paddington service.
