A view to the west from Pilning station, looking down the incline towards the mouth of the Severn Tunnel. In the foreground is Class 66 diesel no. 66566 in Freightliner livery hauling 4O51. This was a container service from Wentloog to Southampton M.C.T. In the distance is a DMU heading towards the tunnel mouth, en route to Cardiff Central. I was fortunate that it did not compromise the view of the freight.
