At around midday on Saturday 10 June 2023, Class 197 DMU no. 197010 of Transport for Wales heads towards Chester station. It is seen here crossing the Shropshire Union Canal at Northgate Lock. The lock keeper can be seen in the foreground facilitating the passage of a boat heading down through the lock gates. The train was 1H86, the Llandudno (1043hrs) to Manchester Airport service.
