Down in the Cutting

At 1843hrs on Tuesday 25 July 2023, an engineering train passes up the line at Flax Bourton in North Somerset. Freightliner locos 66548 (front) and 66568 provided the traction for a lengthy rake of loaded HOBC wagons. This train was 6X37, the Fairwater Yard (1750hrs) to Tilehurst East Junction working. Some heavy, dark clouds sat above this scene, but backlight cut in at the rear of the train.
