A View of Winson Green Railway Bridge
The West Coast Main Line at Winson Green, Birmingham, on the afternoon of Saturday 24 April 2021. It is seen here framed by a footbridge on the Birmingham Canal, at the western end of the Soho Loop. A Class 323 EMU of West Midlands Railway heads towards New Street (right), forming 2A33, the Wolverhampton (1422 hrs) to Walsall service. I had to lie flat on the edge of the canal bank to get this viewpoint, prompting some amused looks from passers by. Not recommended on a wet day!
