The view here is from the footbridge at Cattybrook brickworks, between Patchway and Pilning stations near Bristol, towards the Severn Tunnel and Wales. In strong early evening backlight, GWR Class 800xxx IEP heads down the line as 3X16, Reading Traincare Depot to Newport, at 1751hrs on Thursday 14 September 2017. This was my first view of the 800 Class, soon to be a common sight in these parts.
