The new GWR green livery is not photographer-friendly in a rural setting. Front light seems to be a dead loss, and so I am coming to rely on strong backlight and/or glint to get best results. Here the early light separates this Class 153 DMU from its background, giving a pleasing image. 153372 formed service 2C10, Bristol Temple Meads to Westbury on the morning of Monday 30 October 2017. The setting is Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire, a short distance to the west of the station. I would like to thank the duck (bottom right) for providing some welcome foreground interest to this image!
