In some splendid autumn light, Colas Rail locos nos. 66846 & 66848 head up the line at Backwell in North Somerset. This was at 1244hrs on Friday 27 October 2023, the train being 3S59, the Hereford (0911 hrs) to Swindon Transfer RHTT working. Looking at the surroundings, the main leaf fall is yet to happen here.
