Pedal Power....or Nuclear Power?

Pedal Power....or Nuclear Power?

A busy scene at a busy station. This was Bristol Temple Meads on the afternoon of Thursday 27 September 2018. The delayed 6M63, a nuclear flasks working from Bridgwater to Crewe Coal Sidings, passes the bike racks whilst on the Up Through line. Motive power is provided by Direct Rail Services Class 68 locos nos. 68003 (Astute) & 68017 (Hornet). This is the first time that I have seen this working with three flasks.
