Into the Mist

The first freight to pass through Fairwood Junction in Wiltshire in the daylight on the morning of Wednesday 29 September 2021 was 7V97, the Botley Foster Yeoman (0430 hrs) to Merehead Quarry working. This was hauled by Freightliner Class 59 loco no. 59202. It is seen here heading west from Fairwood towards Frome, passing through a patch of the lingering morning mist.
