The Lineside Giant

Class 66 loco no. 66121 of DB Cargo is somewhat dwarfed by the adjacent city refuse incineration plant in Exeter on the afternoon of Tuesday 08 January 2019. The location is a short distance south of Exeter St. Thomas station at Clapperbrook Lane overbridge. The train was 6C12, a consignment of aggregates running from Burngullow in Cornwall to Exeter Riverside. Not the best of light but a good industrial backdrop for this freight working, something of a rarity in the South West.
