On an afternoon that didn't quite live up to the weather forecast, (or the railway timetable), a rake of aggregates wagons passes down through Severn Tunnel Junction station in South Wales. The train was 4B35, Acton T.C. to Moreton-on-Lugg (Tarmac). Traction was Class 66 locomotive no. 66101 of DB Cargo. A lot of OHE masts have gone up since I was last here in October 2018. The view down the line from the road bridge has gone entirely. The only thing missing here now is the wires, due to go up in the near future. That's progress.
