At 1422 hrs on Saturday 02 December 2023, Freightliner loco no. 66508 crosses the viaduct in Pill, North Somerset. This is part of the freight-only Portbury Dock branchline. The train was 4V35, the Wembley Receptions (0950 hrs) to Portbury Auto Terminal liner working. About twenty minutes prior to this scene, thick fog had obscured much of the view here, however it rapidly cleared, leaving only a hint of mist lingering in the trees.
