There are still a fair few Class 43 sets working the line between Taunton and Castle Cary. Here we see a set led by 43156 heading down the line (left) towards Taunton at 1738hrs on Wednesday 27 March 2019. This train was 1C88, the London Paddington (1603 hrs) to Penzance service. The location is the drove road at Stathe on the Somerset Levels, a couple of miles west of Langport.
