Approaching Avoncliff Aqueduct

Avoncliff station is located a short distance west of Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire. Just west of the station stands the Avoncliff Aqueduct, which carries the Kennet and Avon Canal over the River Avon and the Bath to Westbury railway line. This structure was built between 1797 and 1801 and is a Grade II* listed building. On the morning of Thursday 17 March 2022 Freightliner Class 66 loco no. 66505 approaches at the head of 6A27, the East Usk Yard (0843hrs) to Hayes & Harlington Tarmac Sidings working.
