At 1000hrs on Thursday 29 February 2024, GBRf loco no. 66708 'Glory to Ukraine' crosses the Cranfleet Canal in Nottinghamshire. This train was 6E42, the Cliffe Stud Farm (0721hrs) to Doncaster working. The weather was dismal and the ground saturated. The next day was the first day of Spring, and the weather was even worse!
