The scene here is at the hamlet of Stathe on the Somerset Levels, a short distance up the line from Athelney Crossing and Taunton. Heading west (right) is a Class 802 series set which formed 1C84, the London Paddington (1403 hrs) to Penzance service on Wednesday 04 December 2019. I love this location. The atmosphere as the sun slowly set and the mist started to rise was something special.
