Test Train at Ashton, Bristol

Colas Rail Class 67 locos are a rare sight in Bristol, so the prospect of two of them (67027 & 67023) on a Network Rail test train justified an early morning alarm call. The train, running as 1Z23, is seen here on the Portbury Dock branch at Ashton. It is 0603hrs on Thursday 16 July 2020 and the train is running 45 minutes early. Luckily I got here with about three minutes to spare.
