On the morning of Sunday 12 November 2017 I went to Bathampton hoping to get some autumn colour in good light. The forecast was wide of the mark, and this was the only well lit shot that I achieved in over three (rather chilly) hours. Here a Class 43 set of GWR is seen on the approach to Bathampton Junction at 1146hrs, forming service 1A15, Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington.
