'Moorbarrow' approaches Cranmore

'Moorbarrow' approaches Cranmore

RSH 0-6-0ST no 47 'Moorbarrow' approaches Cranmore station from the west on the afternoon of 22 June 2013. The railway here used to link the mainline at Witham with the city of Wells. The station retains much of its period character and is well worth a trip. I found that the volunteer staff here typified everything that is good about the heritage railway movement. As Wallace & Gromit would say: 'A Grand Day Out'.
