Shackerstone station is the operating base of 'The Battlefield Line' in Leicestershire. This scene was captured at the start of the day on Sunday 11 August 2013. The monochrome treatment is an attempt to take the viewer back fifty years in time to the end of the steam era. The main station building here is a real gem and well worth a visit.
